I can't believe I'm the first to review this game!?! Nobody can argue with this...

Graphics: 9
While the graphics are by no means ground-breaking they are awesome in their flawlessness. What I mean by this is at no time were the players of this game misled by anything. If you saw your fist hit the other character it responded accordingly... unlike other fighting games at this time, most notably Mortal Kombat.

Sound: 9
I have the same to say about the sound as I did the graphics. However the music is whatever you want it to be.

Gameplay: 10
This is the part that matters for this game. I'll try to sum it up as short as possible. This game is highly regarded as the landmark title for governing all multiplayer fighting games produced after it. Street Fighter has set the standard for all other games ever made. Why...? Because Street Fighter was so simple, yet the possibilities are endless. No other game (even today) has matched the essence of the simplistic gameplay of Street Fighter. Street Fighter is a masterpiece, like in art, sometimes if the artist makes even one more stroke the painting is ruined. This metaphor is proven when Street Fighter three Alpha or whatever bullcrap came out, which sucked. All attempts to improve on this game have failed for that reason. Furthermore, no other game to date has matched the longevity, or replay value, of Street Fighter because anyone can sit and play their buddy over and over again. If you are one of those people who simply dominate every one you play in this game than you know what I'm talking about when you finally find that friend who can put up a decent fight. No other video game is more exciting and addicting than playing Street Fighter with a person of the same caliber. I could write a thousand pages on why the gameplay of Street Fighter is superior to anything else to date, but to save time and space see my closing.

Overall: 10
I can't say enough about this game. (As you can tell) It is the standard that all other fighting games (and all games gameplay wise) go by. Even the sequels to this game were worse than it. No game has ever compared to the gameplay of Street Fighter Two.

Every video game I have ever played, after beating it, I have said, "That could have been better...," or, "If I made that game I would have changed...," except Street Fighter (and maybe Halo ONE). Every serious gamer knows that some games make the controller feel like an extension to the body and some games feel like crap. Street Fighter is the first game to achieve that true physical feeling to a video game. That is why this is the HANDS DOWN OVERALL GREATEST GAME EVER MADE.
