DT2 is a very fun game and doesn't really take along time to play through if you can get the hang of it. I honestly find it easier than the first one. If you enjoyed the first one, you will not be disappointed in this on. It's the same concept with only added options-there's even a shop so you can purchase continues (the first DT didn't have continues!)

Graphics: 8
I think the graphics are very well done for a NES game. Even the animations, characters, and landscape. I also think they are slightly better than first one.

Sound: 8
The music is pretty darn catchy. I tend to find myself humming along with the stage music while playing. The sound effects aren't bad either-maybe lacking in a variety for all the enemies make the same sound when you knock'em off, including the bosses.

Gameplay: 9
I give the gameplay a 9 because I really love playing this game, in fact its usually laying in that pile of "recently played games" along side Metroid and Super Mario Bros. 3. The only real gripe I have about this game is that it just isn't long enough. The bosses are all too easy except for the "golem duck" in Mu, which was a very creative idea and I only wish more bosses had been given that much thought. My last words for anyone is that if you have not played this game or the first one, you're missing out on a couple of games that really make the NES stand the test of time.

Overall: 9
I think I pretty much already said everything I needed to say. Overall this game ranks up around Metroid and Super Mario bros. 3. I may be a loser for playing such a "childish" game, but you really got to have a something of a brain to really get the fullness out of this one.

Just play it, if you don't like it, then maybe its just not for your taste.

This game is very similar to its predecessor. It has the same moves in it as Duck Tales. But Duck Tales 2 adds a little more spunk. I liked this game because it features two new options and more of those hopping levels. Lots more challenges as well.

Graphics: 6
It's graphics look exactly the same as Duck Tales. Except for the note that Scrooge is in a better looking suit. But, Duck Tales the cartoon has better graphics.

Sound: 7
The sound is great because it has a repetative beat to it. But I have to say that the music is great for the NES. I like the boss song the best. It makes it so that way I have to beat the boss.

Gameplay: 10
In Duck Tales 2, Scrooge has a new suit and two new options that the first Duck Tales didn't have.It has a shop option where you can purchase your cakes, safes, stars, dolls, continue globes and pieces of the forgotten map. The 2nd option is that you can get power-up adaptors for Scrooge, which enable him to use force through himself or his pogo stick to destroy blocks that he normally can't plow through. Duck Tales 2 has interesting puzzles too. Lots of harder levels as well.

Overall: 9
Not only is DT 2 the only addition for the series on NES. Out of the two, DT 2 surpasses Duck Tales in certain aspects. Aspects such as new options, better gameplay and so forth. The only thing I didn't like was the ending because its cheesy. They should have improved on the ending like all NES games. I recommend this game for little kids to play, maybe adults.

Have a fun time with the game and it will certainly enthrall the kids and give them an interlude to the previous game.
